Anything that is actually glow in the dark automatically contains phosphors. Phosphors are what reacts in a black light. **Q: can this be mixed with nail polish?** A: I have mix this with epoxy resin and other paints .it might not glue as as bright but it will glow. **Q: What would happen if this were combined with a second glow in the dark pigment?** A: The pigments are particulates, so they don't interact or anything. It's more like mixing sand than paint. What you'll end up with is a white powder that, when charged, and then put in the dark, will glow with those colors. These ones are pretty small, so you'll get a mix of the colors, similar to a TV or computer monitor. Mix them well and they'll be an almost uniform 'color' unless you're up close. Mix them roughly and you'll have a marbling, swirly, or banded effect... once again, like mixing colored sand. It should be noted that since these emit light, the more colors you mix, or the closer to primary colors you mix, the closer to 'white' you'll get. Also, despite mixing, many different pigments will fade to 'green' as they discharge, so while it may seem white initially, it will often become a faded green over the course of a few minutes. Additionally, since many pigments use slightly different frequencies to charge (and discharge at different rates/frequencies), not all the pigments will be equally bright. This means that while it might look like orange when charged under a full spectrum light, it might end up mauve, pink, or even blue if such a batch is charged under a UV LED or other source.
