Took quite a bit of extra work installing in an aluminum frame and glass door. Needed many extra tools to cut the metal. Schlage offered nothing on working with metal doors. But once installed it works really well and looks very smart. Downside. Amazon Australia website advertised a separate plug in unit for a big extra price but said it was needed to get full wi fi phone control of the lock. I paid the extra as a separate order. Very high delivery cost because as it turns out it had to come from the USA. Thu unit when it arrived is no use. USA plugs and rated to only 110 volts. seems it is not available in a 240 volt version. So no wi-fi which was advertised as a feature by Amazon Australia and why i chose this lock over others.
