I ended up using T-GEL shampoo. THAT is what worked better than the dermatologists medicine or anything else! After 3 years I’m almost itch free! **Q: Does this benefit the hair itself? Such as hydrating hair or whatnot?** A: I did not use it on the hair itself. I used it on the scalp, it is a cleansing product for the scalp to eliminate dandruff. They do have a conditioner that hydrated and treats the hair. The conditioner can be used in conjunction with scalp treatment. **Q: Can you apply this to dry hair and scalp? Or does it have to be applied to damp, freshly washed hair?** A: You can apply it to dry hair but it should be applied to a clean scalp. It didn't help me at all.
