I stopped coloring it over 3 years ago and there's a lot of gray in it now. I didn't see reviews which mentioned the kind of hair I have, so I'm adding my $.02. The pictures are after my 2nd time using this product. The first time I followed the directions for using it as a weekly treatment (apply to dry hair, rinse, shampoo, condition.) The 2nd time (4 days later - I clean my hair 2x a week) I followed directions for the daily use (shampoo, condition, then use.) I wanted to see if this product would add shine, but more importantly smooth my hair so it would brush and comb out more easily. Usually I'll wear my hair up, but it can still get some tangles.During the first time using the glaze, I was surprised I didn't need to use the entire bottle. Its consistency isn't too runny or too think, so it spread through my hair nicely. The fragrance was quite pleasant and lasted several days. After the 20 minutes, I rinsed it out. It seemed that my hair was coated at first, and not in a good way. Like you put coconut oil on your hair and realized it's not leaving anytime soon. But after the shampoo and conditioner, all was well. My hair was a little easier to detangle afterward, although I still needed to use my go-to products, Sebastian's Potion 9 and Silk Elements (like BioSilk) to make my hair manageable. I blow dry my hair just until it's dry and then hit it with a cool shot. My hair was much easier to detangle for days, plus it did have some additional shine to it.When I used the glaze the 2nd time, it was much less of an effort to get it through my hair since I put it in after shampooing and conditioning. My hair seemed a little dry after rinsing, but not really after letting it air dry for a while. I used my potion 9 and silk elements, blow dried my hair, and it feels even softer than before. The pictures don't look as good as real life.
