## Description

This is an 8-Inch powered subwoofer capable of producing 60 watts (RMS) output. The subwoofer has a frequency response range of 50 to 250 Hz with a lowpass crossover filter, which can be adjusted from 50 to 150 Hz. Gain and frequency knobs on the control panel allow you to adjust the crossover filter and the power output for the optimum blend and balance of bass output with your stereo or surround speakers. The subwoofer has multiple input options, which allow it to be used with any existing stereo or 5.1 (or greater) amplifier system. For each input there is a corresponding output. High-level inputs accept a full-range signal from the amplifier's stereo speaker outputs. When connecting the unit as part of a 5.1 system, these would be taken off the Front Left and Front Right outputs in parallel to the standard pair of front speakers. The subwoofer provides its own power and includes impedance matching circuitry, so this will not reduce the power output to the front speakers or affect the overall impedance load on the amplifier. Additionally, the subwoofer has a set of right/left Line Level inputs. If using a standard stereo system, without a special subwoofer output, you can connect these to the left and right line level outputs on the amp. The subwoofer will then combine the signals to process the mono bass signal it needs to drive the speaker. If you are using an amplifier with a single mono subwoofer line level output, simply use an RCA -Inch-Inch cable to split the output and send it to the two line level inputs on the subwoofer. The subwoofer is housed in an attractive black wood cabinet that measures 13.75-Inch x 11.75-Inch x 11.75-Inch (H x W x D). The driver and a 2 3/4-Inch sound port are located on the front, covered by a black cloth speaker grill. Amplifier Power Output: 60 Watts (RMS).

Review: Received unit in apparent good conditions. On further checking and to my horror the unit delivered was for 110v/60 hz power input and not what Singapore public power system operating at 230-220v/50 hz is designed for. Vendors selling internationally should have supplied dual voltage unit. Otherwise they should stick to just USA market only. I have to buy a step down transformer for my power supply in order to get it in operation. Have lodged a complaint with seller but as yet not heard back. What a disappointment.
Review: I own two other subs -- a nice Sony for my living room theater system, and a big Klipsch sub on my "virtual pipe organ" setup. No, this little unit isn't directly comparable to either, but it does what it does surprisingly well. I didn't buy it to shake the walls, the way my Klipsch can when I play the organ, but to add some missing heft to the music I play at bedtime for relaxation. In the bedroom, I have a small Pyle amp with Bluetooth built in, connected to a pair of rather dinky little "satellite" speakers, each one having a 4" driver and a tiny dome tweeter in a metal cabinet. They sound decent but certainly don't put out any punch whatsoever. At night I use the YouTube Music app to play quiet sedate classical or New Age Music, or very calm pipe organ music before I go to sleep. Using only the two little satellite speakers, the music is ok but not all that satisfying, lacking lower midrange and bass tones that I know are in the music (I hear them when I play the same music on my living room system). Using the supplied stereo RCA patch cable, I simply connected the "recording out" jacks of my Pyle amp to the input jacks of the sub and fired everything up. I cracked open the sub's volume control, and instantly began to hear the lovely deep tones that had been missing from my music. Not wanting to keep the neighbors up at night, I've left the sub volume quite low. I turned up the frequency knob to the point where it seems that the sub takes over the bass about where the small speakers lose it. So I'm more than happy with this purchase. It cost a fraction of what I paid for my other two subs, and while it wouldn't be adequate for the virtual pipe organ, and perhaps only barely adequate for the living room theater, it is all I need for my little bedroom music system. So I can't say that this little unit will be enough sub for everybody in every situation. It certainly isn't made to shake the walls in a big room, or even in a modest theater setup. It probably wouldn't last very long if you tried to make it do what only a larger sub can do. But for supplementing some smallish speakers in a bedroom or office system, or a desktop audio setup, it ought to be just right. It was packaged beautifully and securely, was delivered exactly on time, and everything I needed was in the box. Good product.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: I only have 1 3.5mm out to subwoofer. if a use a 3.5mm to rca cable will it work ok?**
A: Use a 3,5mm to 'Y' RCA cable (adapter).
JSAUX makes a good one, I use it from my ZVOX to subwoofer.
JSAUX RCA Cable, [6.6ft/2M, Dual Shielded Gold-Plated] 3.5mm Male to 2RCA Male Stereo Audio Adapter
If you need more length just get a male-to-female 3.5mm extender/headphone cable.

**Q: How tall is it without the feet, are the feet removable?**
A: If you decide to remove the feet, please make sure you set the subwoofer on a towel or micro-cloth to keep it from contacting while vibrating on the surface it is sitting on. It will almost sound like the speaker is blown without something to dampen the vibration between the floor and the cabinet of the subwoofer, not to mention the vibration will also scuff up the bottom surface a lot. Kinda like a vibrating sander, almost.

**Q: Is it possible to connect this sub to the 3.5mm jack on the back of my desktop PC and, if so, how? Is there a cable for that?**
A: They sell cables here on Amazon that have the mini 3.5 "headphone" style jack on one end and the red and white RCA jacks on the other end. That is how I am using it with my computer. Use the green jack on the PC which is an output... not the pink or blue. Here's a link: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07D8M5DML/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

***Once you do this, that will be the only sound you make. You should also use a splitter to split the signal coming out of your computer. You would then send half the signal to the subwoofer, and the other half to a set of full range computer speakers so you have all the sound and not just bass. Here's a link:

Good luck!

**Q: What are the dimensions of the cabinet? description says 13.75-inch x 11.75-inch x 11.75-inch (h x w x d). info says 14.8 x 16.1 x 15.4**
A: 11 7/8" wide
13" tall with feet attached
11 3/4" deep BUT add 1/2" for the connections that stick out the pack, perhaps a bit more to allow for the cables to plug in.
