## Questions & Answers

**Q: Should I plant the potatoes whole or cut them in half. They are very large potatoes.**
A: The larger ones can be cut in half (or even quarters) just make sure there's at lest one eye or sprout on each piece.

**Q: What is the best pH level for this variety?**
A: Hard to say I planted them in same bed where I got a bumper crop of Red Creamer potato's and got nothing not a good product!

**Q: Can i plant potatoes in november? i live in an inland coastal area of central california.**
A: I seriously don't think you can plant that early. Length of daylight and temperature play a part in growth. Plant mid-February, and don't forget to "hill" the rows properly. Good luck!

**Q: Is it too late to plant them the first of August in middle Georgia?**
A: All the seeds I have bought none had directions how to griw them

they are fantastic. I planted and they have grown like crazy

I will say that these potatoes simply came in a box from the postal service. No directions - so if you're new to potatoes and require some instructions, these probably are not for you. However, if you know what you're doing and do need a "how to" card... they are fantastic. I planted and they have grown like crazy. I cannot wait until I'm ready to find out what's beneath the ground.

    WHAT A RIP OFF!

*by C***B on Reviewed in the United States on September 27, 2024*

These are NOT potato ‘slips’. They are certainly not anywhere near ready to plant within days, as those I have received from other suppliers in the past have been. Not one of them has an eye on it, so I wouldn’t even know where to start cutting each into smaller pieces for planting. So basically what you sent me was a 5 pound bag of very expensive full-size potatoes (1st photo). Two of these are so big (4.5”+) that they weigh almost a pound each. I also included your featured photo (2nd photo), in which small potatoes WITH EYES are shown, & a photo similar to the type of potato that is “ready for planting” that I have received in the past (last photo). I live in AZ (zone 9), so the window for planting potatoes is very short. By the time your potatoes sit, develop eyes, & sprout (instead of arriving sprouted & ready to go), get cut into pieces with one or two eyes, heal, and are planted, my window for planting will be long gone. VERY DISAPPOINTING.

My mother bought the same potato mix last year and the yield was wonderful. The potatoes taste great

These shipped to us very well and we just planted them for the season. My mother bought the same potato mix last year and the yield was wonderful. The potatoes taste great! Fresh is MUCH better than store bought.
