**Q: is this adapter capable of packet injection and monitor mode?**
A: Darkmatter at Def Con used this card in monitor mode using drivers he patches. You can find them over at PalsHack (http://palshack.org/monitor-mode-with-alfa-ac1200-rtl8812au/)

**Q: Will it run on windows 8.1 or Windows 10? I have recently had an issue with another Alfa product that did not have good drivers for windows 8.1 at all**
A: No, it runs terribly on Mac and Windows 10. This is a fundamentally faulty product. There is a reason this costs half what the other usb 3.0 802.11ac adapters cost. The savings are not worth it.

**Q: How do you install mac drivers if your mac has no optical drive?  Can I download the drivers?**
A: You can try going to the website and try to download them from Alpha, otherwise buy and external portable cd/dvd rom drive. I have not tried this on my Mac yet, but I've tried to use this wifi adapter on 2 different Windows machines and it was very unstable. Good luck.

**Q: will it work in kali linux?**
A: It works perfectly on Kali for package injection. You don't need to install any driver.
