I want my sharks to have laser beams attached to there freaking heads** A: For a serious topic such as this and with all of heads involved in this discussion, not even one person brought up the most important factor. The importance thing here is not the color or mounting options. Not even the brightness matters if the laser itself is not waterproof. U can have it the right color with the right brightness and mounted on the sharks dorsal fins but it doesnt matter if it wont turn on if because its not waterproof. **Q: Can you see the beam? I'm looking for a good star pointer. If you know of any good ones tell me!!** A: I’m not sure why anyone would say this doesn’t work well as a star pointer. Maybe is has to do with the humidity level in your area. There needs to be something in the air for the beam to light up, so very dry areas might not work as well. Mine works great, so much so I am buying a second, just to be used as a star pointer. **Q: Is the lens plastic or glass?** A: Glass, this is a nice high quality laser. It's built like a tank (So, check that the size and weight work for you ) . It holds a nice bright tight laser beam over a long distance.im very pleased with this purchase. It was pleasantly surprised by how impressive it performs. It's far superior to a basic red laser in every way other than size and weight. I liked it enough that I purchased a second. I painted one in highlander kryptek for a specific application and left the other black. If your using this as a tactical tool I suggest painting the surface around the laser port or using a piece of electric or camo duct tape because it's very reflective as is but that is a simple 10 second chore. **Q: The label on the photos says its a class iiib laser but the specs says <5mw. which is correct?** A: Both answers are correct. Very stable and easy to instal. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Pretty dang good *by G***N on April 21, 2020* Haven't had time to shoot yet, but it has clicks on both adjustments, so it should hold zero better than the other lasers at the same price range. Out of the box, I only have two complaints: 1. It's just as big as a laser and only holds a single CR123AW battery that's does not come with a charger. 2. Both body and pressure switch are small, and the pressure switch only has momentary mode. Now I pointed out the bad things, here's what I like about it: 1. At least it comes with a tail switch. I bought a chinese pressure switch clones for high end lasers that clamps on picatinny rails and has both momentary and latching switch. All I have to do is splice and solder the wires. 2. Body and mount feels secure. Be careful when using your allen wrenches though. Small nuts and bolts that come with budget accessories tend to strip or break fast. I suggest use loctite or other thread lockers, and tighten the bolts snug. The body's about 1" in diameter, so if you break your mounts, you can find 1" flashlight mounts for shotguns tubes, picatinny, mlok, and keymod just about anywhere. (I wish it comes in mlok though because I had to buy a rail adapter for my handguard) 3. The dot is big and bright. Unless you're planning on shooting a squirrel on the heart, you can probably get good 1-2" groups with the laser alone. I used to get red lasers because reviews say that "they're more visible on different color backgrounds". This big green dot contrasts pretty good on any color both night and day. Last comments on its use for new gun owners: spend money on ammo. Idk why people buy lasers that cost hundreds of dollars. Invest on CR123AW and chargers because a lot of accessories use the same stuff. Don't get lost on finding the top of the line lasers. They're just backups if you have to hip fire your long gun or if your sights break. Overall pretty good quality for the price.
