**Q: What does the ring say - level 1 or level 2. I bought stage 1 bottle but the nipple says level 2?**
A: The ring of the bottle stays the same regardless of what level nipple you have.  I don't remember which is the first one you use for a newborn which is a slower flow I believe and the higher the level the easier it is to suck liquid from the bottle.  But the ring is the same regardless of the nipple size.
