As far as the actual product, my kids love it. This is the second pair I am ordering. Hope you know that you are ordering double bladed ice skates. So what if this gives your novice ice skater a false sense of accomplishment. At least my kids are skating around with ease while the other kids are using buckets or falling all over the place. They can keep up with adults at a beginner level. If you decide your kid is going to purse ice skating and needs better form well you can deal with it later. This is a great way to get your 4-6 year old kid up and having fun. Instead of getting disheartened because they can't stand on skates and want to quit early after you paid $15 each for you and her to enter a resort skating rink. As far as fit, the soft material is very forgiving instead of the tight leather or plastic of the rentals. No blisters. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Beginner ice skates *by O***I on April 18, 2013* I bought these for my daughter before she turned 4 because she was just starting out on skates and I didn't want to spend a tremendous amount of money before I knew if she'd like skating. First, in case it's not clear to everyone (it wasn't initially clear to me), these are DOUBLE blades - not single blades like "normal" ice skates are. So they're a great little crutch for when your child is first starting out. Just don't keep your child in them for more than a few weeks because then it becomes harder to adjust to real skates. They're cheap enough that it's worth it to buy them for a few uses - just realize that if you want to have your child truly learn how to skate these aren't a permanent solution. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Great transaction.
