I have dogs** A: I adore Vetrycin. If it is a wound that can heal, Vetrycin will get it there, at least in my experience. There is a big difference between the gel and the regular spray. I much prefer the regular spray because it sprays freely. In contrast, the hydrogel tends to clog up so the nozzle needs constant cleaning. I have a dog and several cats so having Vetrycin on hand is absolutely essential. Hope this helps. Or does it create a protective shield like a 'liquid bandage'?** A: You need to find out from your vet if the wound should be covered,different types of wounds need air others need to be covered. This product is exceptional,your cat can lick it without doing any harm like getting sick from the product,,but again,you need to check because your vet may not want the wound disturbed by constant licking as only cats can do.
