The Yamaha mar-fuelf-il-tr is a disposable spin-on cartridge water eliminating gas filter that can only be used with the corresponding Yamaha housing. Think of this cartridge as you would an oil filter cartridge. You must find the one that fits your car model and engine. I would suggest that you find a cross reference chart if there is such a thing, and see if can match it with a cartridge. If you can't, you must purchase the Yamaha housing assembly and replace the Racor. Try the Eastern Marine internet catalog.
