Review: Quality at a high level - Good part . It was a perfect fit for my Toyota Corolla 1997 DX.
Review: Turned check engine light off on a 1997 Geo Prizm - On a Geo Prizm with over 220k miles the check engine light was on for catalyst efficiency, code P0420. Replacing the catalytic converter with this one cleared the code so it could pass inspection. The description notes for this catalytic converter say front and rear gaskets are included, but the one I received did not have any. I do not know if they were missing from the Warehouse Deal I purchased, or if they are not included with any of them. On this car the front and rear use the same style donut gasket, not the flat flange type. The bolts had to be cut off since they were rusted tight and the heads were too small for 14 mm and too large for 13 mm. Even with a 13 mm socket hammered on for a very snug fit, the bolt didn't budge and the corners rounded off, so all bolts were cut for removal. The catalytic converter looked very similar to the one that was removed and fit perfectly. The removed catalytic converter did not look clogged or deformed in any way, but apparently was not doing its job since the engine light that was on for months cleared shortly after this catalytic converter was installed. This was well worth the money to get past inspection for another year.

**Q: Does this fit 1990 toyota pick up with 22r motor**
A: Hello,
This converter is catalog listed and designed for this vehicle with the 2.4L engine accordingly.  Additionally, it is only applicable for this vehicle if it were built with Federal Emissions from the factory and would not be compatible with this vehicle if it were built with California Emissions from the factory.

**Q: does it matter which way it's attached? there aren't any arrows or "in" - "out" markings**
A: It is uni-directional, but a Walker rep told me in email that it should be installed with the part number side down, with the beginning of the number toward the front of the vehicle.

**Q: will it fit 1997 4runner with V6?**
A: Thank you for your inquiry. Walker does NOT show the 16360 EPA Converter fitting a 1997 Toyota 4-Runner with a V-6 engine.

**Q: Is ir 12 1/2 inches?**
A: The overall length is 12.5 inches.

Installed easily, exact size as the OEM unit. The flanges are thick, flat, and true. The bolt holes are located correctly and a little oversize for easy installation. Gaskets ARE included, despite what the Walker rep says here on Amazon. It made my truck quieter than if I had used a "test pipe" in place of the converter, and it's smog legal even though my locale doesn't currently test. It's about 25% of what the dealer asks for one. This one fits some still-popular applications, and it's 49-state legal (even New York state which is clamping down on emissions violations). It's a good replacement for a failed or plugged unit for around $100 and you can do it yourself.
