Do you need to sew them in or glue them in?** A: I was able the sew it. I haven't tried them as a replacement as I bought them as extenders. I'm sure they'd be fairly perfect as replacements. As extenders, they are fiddly. Kinda involves jamming the tapered edge under the fabric of the hat, and hoping for the best. I needed extenders to allow my thick head of hair to fit under the hat (it's gotta be in a ponytail with the snapback under the tail), and I was able to accomplish this, but there's not a lot of variability. Fits kinda loose because of it. All in all though, very little sprue to speak of and the molds that were used to make these are fine. Just fine, overall.
