How much wind load is permissable?** A: The Motor and Gear of VH226F can survive max torque 300 lb. inch at the vertical loading position (rotator turning), and max torque 210 lb. inch at the horizontal position (wind blowing). **Q: Does this rotator have steel thrust bearings and a disk brake similar to the channel master cm9521a?** A: The RCA unit doesn't have a break. Also, the top clamps to hold the mast are cheap. (They don't hold the mast from turning.) I drilled through the clamp and mast pole to install a bolt.
