Extra depth for special applications
This socket did the trick for what I needed. Well built and the correct size.

Worked perfectly even as a one time use
I bought it to install a steering stabilizer for my 1999 dodge Ram 4x4 and I didn’t want to do a ghetto install specially to torque down nut with precision. One more specialty socket for my tool box to keep till needed again.

Not truly deep
The grooves to slide over nut stop too soon. They don't go far enough to make it a true extended socket. My regular deep socket slid further.

it's not deep on the inside
it's not extra deep on the inside, it's still restricted by some type of shoulder restricting the amount a nut cango deep on the inside.
