Came up with a disc error, which, after a reset, resolved itself. Made 2 20 minute recordings and that was that until today. Tried to use today, but will not function properly. Will not record, and if I delete 2 recordings from January, it says they are deleted, but reappear each time I switch on. Have tried formatting, resetting etc but now shows "Please wait......" and has done so for the last hour. Very disappointed! Transfer cable might be low quality. *by R***N on 7 June 2026* I've been using this for several years now with regular use. It is a good quality recorder, dependable (never had a recording issue) and easy to use. I have come to rely on it for clear, clean, audio recording that can be easily retrieved and used. The only issue might be the mic you use and the cord used to download recordings. I've been through two different cords that stopped working as transfer connections. I don't know why they stopped working. The one it came with was only ever used to transfer data from the device and was not bend or subjected to weight or play at the connection points. It stopped working after a year with not much use.
