I sent it to my cousin in Cuba to use with her Canon T7i, and the difference compared to the kit lens was huge. The wide aperture helps a lot with background blur, indoor photography, and achieving a more professional look without spending a fortune. Autofocus isn’t the fastest and the build quality is simple, but for someone starting out in photography, it absolutely gets the job done. I’d definitely recommend it for portraits, casual sessions, and for learning how to work with prime lenses before investing in more expensive gear. Excellent value for the money.

It’s obviously not an official Canon lens or a high-end professional prime, but honestly it does an amazing job for the price.
