Review: takes out the oil in my face without drying - I really like this Paula's Choice facial cleanser! I have been using the Image Skincare Ormedic Balancing Facial Cleanser since my beautician recommended it, and I found it was cheaper here on desertcart than buying it from her salon. Now the price of that cleanser has gone up considerably, so I needed to make a change. I also tried the Clarisonic Refreshing Gel Facial Cleanser. It's fine, but it's also over $4 per ounce. I wanted a "balancing" cleanser, which means it takes out the oil and puts in a little moisture. So, I tried this Paula's Choice Skin Balancing Oil-Reducing facial cleanser. It is wonderful! I like it better than both the Image cleanser and the Clarisonic cleanser. Paula's facial cleanser comes out thick and white, and I don't use too much, and it creates enough lather. The plastic top of the bottle pops up and you squeeze out a little. I use this cleanser on the Clarisonic Mia2 facial brush, two times per day. My face feels really clean, but not dried out. Paula's is more than half the price of the Image cleanser, and I like the way my face feels better with Paula's. This 16 oz. bottle will surely last at least 2 months, maybe longer. I had never heard of Paula's before I did the desertcart search. I am now a Paula's fan. Note: this is going to last 3 months or more. I have added a photo to show you this is a nice-sized bottle. It's large, but not too big or heavy to use comfortably. This cleanser rinses off easily, and also rinses easily out of the Clarisonic facial brush. Update: I just reordered, so this bottle lasted 2 months one week.

I really like this Paula's Choice facial cleanser! As a gal that has always had very sensitive skin, it’s very hard for me to find a facial cleanser that works for me. That’s boy does this work!!! Very gentle cleanser. It's done a lot to reduce my oiliness and redness, and it was the first step in getting my acne under control. That said, it absolutely does NOT remove all my makeup -- even if I use a washcloth, I will double cleanse my face with this product, because it's needed to remove all of my makeup. Even then, a few traces of mascara and/or eyeliner will likely stay behind. I never use waterproof products, so if you do, don't for a second think that this will get them all off. It's also incredibly irritating to my eyes, which are slightly sensitive. I have to keep my eyes shut tightly when I wash my face, otherwise my eyes will be stinging and tearing up for the better part of a half-hour afterwards. It's also not very easy to rinse off. It's so thickly textured that you really have to repeatedly and thoroughly rinse the product to get it off. That said, it's a good cleanser that leaves my skin soft, clean, and very happy.
