Great bag
I'm a bigger guy at 6-3 and 240 lbs and this bag is pretty sweet. I go elk hunting at 10,000 feet for 2 weeks every year and it usually gets into the teens at night. Until now I've always used a rectangle 0 degree bag but I always have to strategically place jackets around my neck/shoulder area to keep cold air from going down into the bag. I also had to sleep with a balaclava to keep my head warm.I've played with several mummy bags but they're just too tight around the shoulders and not long enough for me. That being said, I really wanted the enclosed head area they offer. Added warmth, keeps cold out of the bag, and also hold your pillow in place. This bag offered all the benefits of the mummy bag while still giving me the room of the rectangle bag and that's why I went with it.The good is that it worked great in every way. There really isn't anything too bad to report. If I had any complaints, I'd say that I wish it was just a little wider around the shoulders. I have noticed a little fraying here and there, so I'm not sure how long it will last. I've been using my Trekker 0° bag for 10 years now and it still looks new. I've used this for about 3 weeks total so far and it is showing signs of wear. I think it'll be fine for a few more years as I only need it for 3 or 4 weeks a year. Just saying. All in all, I'm very happy with this bag and I'd highly recommend it. Oh...I'm also a side sleeper and this bag works great for me.

This is mr. Fluffy,,, No the mummy bag
You talk about fluff, this is pretty spooky for backpacking 20° hybrid mummy bag..Not to worry it is tamble. Not much on this product was said through the reviews. You have to get a compression bag the one I got was Kelty size large called Juniper green 10×18It works wonders. I have a 90 liter Expedition pack by ALPS outdoor engineering. It fits nicely in the sleeping bag compartment now and is manageable. The first night I have slept in this sleeping bag It was in a camp trailer at 50 degrees on the American river and was raining. This mummy bag keep't me surprisingly warm I can feel the warmth and what was nice my feet where warm,, traditional mummy bags as we all know are very confining. The features of this bag is awesome I slept comfortable and freely..I spend a lot of time in the outdoors and the woods this is a comfortable warm bag ,, awesome.

Best Bag I Own
Purchased this before our last camping trip. Really glad I did! This bag is lightweight, very warm, and the zippers on both sides allow the top to be "folded down" when you're inside. Great price on Amazon too.Just a note - the compression sack came located in the bottom of the bag itself. I was concerned when other reviews said theirs came without it, but it was there. The bag itself shipped in a SJC box with a UPS label on it.

Was great for me
Took this guy to climb kilimanjaro. A little heavy to carry in a pack if you are going long distances but we only did 5-6 miles a day. Was great for me, I sleep a little hot and didn't have to worry about being cold under freezing. Last night was about 10 degree F. I still slept fine. Cleans well and rolls up super easy. I love the inner zipper! You can also wear it like those snuggie blankets. I didn't get to try that out but could be handy in a colder setting. I also only slept on a mat and the sleeping bag and was plenty comfortable.

Super lofty, warm, and functional.
Slept outside in high 30’s in the Sierras with it and stayed warm and slept great. Having two zippers let’s it work like a comforter for warmer weather. Very lofty and plush. A bit heavy, but works great for car camping.

recommendable to a beginner
as far as immediate value, this is an acceptable sleeping bag. The synthetic fabric is superior to many others in that it does not become a moist ziploc if you vent it properly. It feels like I could get a few winters on this as a backup bag if I store it properly, but I would rather upgrade to a wool and down quilt combo. For $100 it does its job admirably, however don't expect to abuse this or get it to shrink down without a compression bag. The compression bag that comes with it does an acceptable job, but I prefer the event solution.

Nice if you're small enough to fit.
Not sure how to rate this item. It looks and feels quality. It keeps me warm. That's where the good ends. If you are over 6ft tall and have wide shoulders this will not work for you. The only way I can get it to zip all the way up is with help. Once inside there is no room at all. My head is crammed into the hood and my feet are tight to the bottom. Also, the zipper separated the first night I used it and had to get out in freezing temps to fiddle with the zipper for 20 mins.
