But the new paint this time around is very nice. It features more red, while the previous one featured more gold. The shoulder pads and wrist pads are made of a rubbery plastic which allows his arms and hands to move up and down. It stands at approx. 6 1/2" tall. I believe it has over 20 points of articulation. **Q: do the figures move individual** A: The fIgures are fully posable and you can move them individually **Q: For the unmasked head, is the face plate removable, if not is it possible?** A: It is NOT removable, but I believe it might be possible if you cut it off correctly. Personally I would not attempt to remove the face plate on the unmasked head. But if you get this figure you can find out for yourself. Also if you go on YouTube check out ShartimusPrime, he is a great reviewer,and you can get an opinion of the figure and see the articulation for yourself. **Q: Can you tell me if there is a similar poseable figure but without the thanos leg i just want the iron man** A: There are other Iron Man Mark 43 figures available in the market, however none will have the same amount of articulation or be in the same scale as this one. There are other figures like the S.H. Figuarts which have ridiculous articulation, but the scale is much smaller as well as the price point being close to 3-4 times higher than this figure. To see what else is out there, just do a search on Amazon for "Iron Man Mark 43 Figure" and you will get a better idea of what is out there and you can judge for yourself if there is something you like better than the Marvel Legends line of figures. I bought it for my son (age 3) who hasn't put it down since I opened the package. I mean, it slept on his pillow last night. It has a surprising amount of articulation and is still durable.
