That said almost any chemical is high use can have adverse effects but these body paint ingredients are not harmful the way they are used in the paint. And the ones you may think aren't safe are even the melamine are commonly used on everyday household items like plates etc. **Q: how long does the face paint stay on?** A: The paint stays on a long time. I just applied some last saturday. I put it on around 2pm and it lasted till 2am, when i washed it off. The colors are bold and vibrant. I only wish they came in bigger tubes.
