Review: Very good quality. I used to suffer before my bread stuck in the toaster most of the time
Review: Got a used 4 slice Dualit toaster from a family member who replaced theirs. Tore it apart, cleaned everything and replaced the elements (use only genuine elements!!). Works great. In any case, saw this gadget (I am a sucker for gadgets). Bought one (instead of four) just to try one out. The box comes with the gadget and some recipes. I had grilled cheese in mind… Needless to say, I have not had so many grilled cheese sandwiches before in my life. Works well, once you get the timer dialed in to the darkness you want. Only thing to be aware of is the slits and therefore the ‘sandwiches’ are narrow. Not a problem for grilled cheese. Now the question is, do I need to buy 3 more for production purposes, when the kids come home for the Holidays…. ;)

**Q: Does this work with other toaster brands?**
A: I bought this to use with my KitchenAid Pro Line toaster, since the KitchenAid sandwich cage accessory has been discontinued, and it fits just fine. The part that fits into the toaster slot is 4-7/8 in. long, 5 in. deep and 1-1/8 in. wide. The original KitchenAid product is slightly deeper -- about 5-1/2 in. -- so it fit just a little bit better, but this one works. I use it for toasting crumbly breakfast breads and smaller objects such as crumpets. I've never tried making a sandwich with it.

**Q: How wide is the part that goes in the toaster? Does not look like 1 3/4 inches from the pics. I am trying to see if it would fit in my Cuisinart.**
A: The part that fits into the toaster slot is 4-7/8 in. long, 5 in. deep and 1-1/8 in. wide.

**Q: Do you only get one cage, or is this a pack of two?**
A: I purchased two separately

A: I really don't know.  The toaster is assembled in England, but distributed through various means. I really like the cage and use it to hold all sorts of odd shaped pastries, etc.
