However, on the end of the mounting arm where the transducer is to be mounted. You will need a piece of metal or plastic L bracket or 90° piece to mount the transducer correctly. I don't know why this piece is not included. As it is designed, the transducer would have to be mounted sideways . Which is not going to work. It is possible that that piece was not included in the original packing that I received.
