This "BE" dual overdrive pedal captures the tone of the now legendary Friedman BE-100 amplifier, which has graced the stages of world class musicians the world over. The original Friedman BE-OD single channel pedal took the industry by storm. Tens of thousands of pedals sold worldwide and it's still going strong! This new BE-OD Deluxe pedal employs the exact same circuit but adds another channel and dual midrange controls. The top row (Channel 1) is identical to the original BE-OD pedal while Dave voiced the bottom row (Channel 2) with slightly lower gain. **Q: Does this pedal have internal gain trim pot like the be od?**
A: Yes, it has an internal gain pot and an internal presence pot.

**Q: Is it the same as my guitarist be 100 pedal just with two channels so can have more versatility?**
A: One has a higher more gain structure for more overdriven tones. I use it it mostly for leads to help punch through a mix

**Q: does this be od deluxe sound fizzy in any way? i hate fizzy sound in overdrive pedals and i don't want to waste a bunch of money on one that is fizzy.**
A: Yes, like most od pedals it has some fizz. I use a Boss noise gate pedal and it cancels out all of the fizzy. That said this is an awesome overdrive pedal.

**Q: whats a good 18v power supply to use with this?**
A: I purchased the Dunlop ECB004 to use with mine, and it works very well. I also use the daisy chain from my Boss tuner that powers my other pedals when I don’t feel like using the extra outlet.
