Can this product withstand being steam mopped?** A: It's trash!!! Didn't work at all, a sharpie work better than this! **Q: Can this mask a spot of discoloration on a formica counter top?** A: I think it probably could. **Q: How do I get to the darkest color?** A: I would suspect multiple layers of repair color would create a darker hue at the defect **Q: will this repair peeling on vinyl (looks loke wood) flooring?** A: I’ve used this on hardwood and engineered hardwood floors only. I couldn’t recommend this for vinyl flooring, but it’s not an expensivs product and works great, so I’d give it a try. Also color matching is excellent! ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Did a good job! *by I***G on Reviewed in the United States on 30 September 2023* As long as you are patient and apply this lightly, building as you go, this covers nicely. Easy to use, easy to store and use later. A gray laminate floor got scratched during a recent move and this stick covers it well. Originally thought that the gradient would make this tough to repair, but as long as you read the directions and start light-handed, adding more on the planks that are darker until you achieve the tone you need. Also, give it time to dry, buff it, and stand back (if able) and look at it in different light (natural vs incandescent) to avoid over-applying - you can always add more if it needs to be darker. We'll see how this holds up over time and traffic and apply it again if need be when we move out. For now, it's looking good (since our scratch is in a visible area and not hidden/covered by furniture or rugs), but it's only been down for less than month, hence the 4 stars for durability. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Pick the right color *by S***Y on Reviewed in the United States on 10 June 2022* Works great. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works well *by W***G on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 11 September 2022* Looks good.
