It mixes easily and is very simple to work with. Add too much? Scrape it away. Didn't add enough? Put another layer on. I've used it to fill over cracks, tears in the white part of the drywall (covering up the paper), and for small holes through the drywall. It I add a little too much it sands easily enough away. As long as you keep the lid sealed tightly, it should last between uses.
