Blow a turbo, you automatically replace the air filter. The other thing I did was had a notebook with parts #'s, cross reference and prices. It is definitely louder than the original, which I really like. When I let off the gas with the turbo spooled I can now very clearly hear the blow off valve. It sounds great. The flow and filtration of these filters is also excellent. This is well documented on forums if you want to check into this. The install was pretty simple. Basically remove the stock air box and filter, and put this in. You will need an extension tube, and new clamp.
