But they’re shiny right now and they covered up the paint that was destroyed by surface rust on my rims which is what I wanted them for. They’re plastic but they fit real tight and I have been driving around with them for a few weeks. I’ve gone through the big car washes and so far so good.One thing you should know is that your tire stems to put air in your tire will be blocked and you will have to mess around to put air in your tire. I bought valve stems extenders and they don’t really read accurately with tire gauges. Already had an issue with mechanics putting the wrong air pressure in the tires. I took the muzzy extenders off because of that. So now I gotta mess around.Other than that they covered up the ugly, so that’s what I wanted. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A GREAT set of wheel skins for a GREAT price, fast shipment & 5 minute install for the whole set *by B***M on Reviewed in the United States on June 13, 2017* I've had a set of these EXACT same wheel skins on my 2010 Honda CRV for 7 years. The only trouble I had with them is that one of the clips got broken off by an apparently careless oil-change tech, but the other clips still held it in place - it just rattled a good bit! But this past week I hit a DEEP pot hole going 70 down an interstate and an entirely other one of these flew off - the first/only time I'd had one let loose, but as I said, it was a deep pothole - so time to locate a new set.First, they arrived REALLY quickly. Though not Prime shipping it was free, and I was pleasantly surprised when they arrived in just a few days. VERY well packaged, each one individually protected in shipment. While there are no installation instructions, they aren't really necessary, and removing the previous ones and installing these literally took less than five minutes total. I'll include INSTALL instructions at the end. The most IMPRESSIVE feature of these though was sadly missing on my previous set - around the inside perimeter there is a pre-installed foam tape lining, which serves the dual purpose of both snugging them up against the rim for installation AND insuring that mind-numbing rattle of the old ones will never occur. THANK YOU!!!! Such a simple addition - I was so happy to see it.I can't speak to longevity of these, but like I said they are identical (except for the nice foam touch) to the ones I had before, and they would still be on my car after 7 years except for that stupid China-deep pot hole in the interstate! So I have no reason to believe these won't last just as long. A great price for a full set of four, too.TO INSTALL:1) Gather a small pry bar or large flat head screwdriver, a rubber mallet, and if you're old like me, a simple low stool. If your knees still work, don't bother.2) Sitting in front of each wheel, use the pry bar/screwdriver to remove the old skins (obviously not a necessary step if you don't have any)3) NOTE the location of the "teeth" in relation to the wheel, this will help on the next step.4) Locate the indention on the wheel skin for the tire valve and line it up with the valve of your tire - hold the wheel skin into place from the CENTER of the wheel skin.5) Using the rubber mallet, knock the wheel skin where the teeth are located, moving around the perimeter - it only took me one knock at each tooth location, but I then went around the perimeter again, once in each location, just to make sure it was all firmly seated.THAT'S IT - easy peasy. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect Fit! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 *by A***2 on Reviewed in the United States on July 25, 2020* I have a 2007 Honda CRV and the Honda dealership wanted to charge me $150 for these same hubcaps and installation....ridiculous! So after doing a little research, I came across these hubcaps. There were many great reviews which made it very attractive to me. And I truly appreciated the “very detailed” review that explained how to takeoff the old hubcaps and install the new ones. ☺️ I had a little trouble taking my old hubcaps off at first because I was afraid I was going to break something or I was doing it wrong but once I got the first one to pop off, the rest were a breeze. The installation was very easy but you need to pay attention and make sure that they are all the way on, flush with the rim. I used a rubber mallet to hit the spots where the grips are on the underside of each hubcap to make sure that they are attached to the rim securely. And then make sure that you give them a good tug or two, just to make sure that they are not loose. The shipping on this product was VERY FAST and it arrived even sooner than the date I was originally given. I would definitely recommend these wheel skins and the Seller of this product.
