It’s not too heavy but not too light. Most sweaters often swallow me up or are too short. It’s warm, soft, comfortable, and it fits perfectly. I will definitely order more colors. This will be a fall/winter staple for me. It’s fitted but not tight and works well under layers. I washed & dried it before wearing it and I found that it did not pill or come apart. I am very happy with the Amazon Essentials brand. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A nice cotton sweater *by on Reviewed in the United States October 17, 2021* I ordered this sweater in black and in red, and the sizing was consistent between the two. The red is red, not lipstick or fire-truck, and has no orange tones. The black is true black. I ended up ordering an XL in both (I usually buy a 12-14), since I was looking for a looser fit, and wanted to be able to throw both into the dryer after washing. Both sweaters reach the lower edge of my hip, and have room for layering underneath. They are not boxy; they are cut with a bit of curve--so in a smaller size they'd appear more fitted. The V-neckline is a nice length--not too low, not too high. The cotton is a nice, tight medium-weight weave, and they seem well-made. In the larger size they look casual, but in a smaller size they'd be suitable for the office. I'd say the sizing is true on these--they can be stretched a bit because of the cotton construction, so there is a little "play" in the sizing. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Twisted collar, otherwise good *by on Reviewed in the United States April 10, 2025* Generally speaking, this sweater is of good quality for the price. However, the collar has taken on the “half-washed” look on one side, sort of twisting up and away from the body. It’s still wearable but is less presentable.The fit is snug but appropriately sized, if that makes sense. I was able to layer with thin shirts.
