We use the product to seal dose packaging for prescription medications.The thickness shouldn't be a problem, but I don't know if it will work w/laminate and/or wood. **Q: can this be used for heat transfer vinyl onto t shirts?** A: No, that's not what this machine is for, it's not meant for prolonged usage over 200 degrees. If you can find a now discontinued/used Bienfang model DS100, that would work. **Q: what temperature to laminate** A: It depends on which dry mount tissue you are using. I'm using ColorMount tissue which has a recommended temperature of 190-degrees F. And, be sure to put a weight on top of your laminated work until it cools.
