A: It fits a Samsung S22Ultra which is 3.25" wide with room to spare, so you should be good at 3.5

**Q: Can you buy just the phone holder part? The mount is fine but the part that holds the phone broke.**
A: Yes.  The ball mount is standard sized, interchangeable with pretty much any other style phone holder.  I don't use the clamp style phone holder that came with this unit.  I purchased a different phone holder and use that instead.  It connects to the ball mount just fine.

**Q: Will this fit Samsung Galaxy fold z?**
A: Yes will fit a Samsung Galaxy just not sure about the fold z
