My nurse practitioner suggested Emu Oil. I wasn’t sure what to expect. Turns out it works excellently as a barrier, and I use it all over now - for moisturizing, for my face, and to help clear up minor rashes and scrapes. A little goes a long way - a pea-sized amount will be sufficient for my face, hands and elbows! It’s not oily or super greasy either, which I love!! The only thing I don’t like and that definitely gives me pause is the fact that this is an animal product and essentially Emus are raised only for their oil.
