Let me explain this has some properties of the pre shave gel that I normally use before the "brush" in soap so that's why it to me is a Speedy shave or Travel product since won't have to pack soap & brush. Yes I found best to wet face or after shower leave damp and message in, then like soap go one direction to kinda work up the soap part. I know this this sounds strange but it works! Shave away and get that baby smooth skin. I don't know how these folks do this but 100 years experience say's something.
