Review: Qualitygreat qiality. - This is a very good fan. I am installing it in my attic. I put 2 vents on the opposite side of the attic and this will draw the hot air from the attic. I temporarily installed it but I am amazed at how quiet it is. I like the controls and I still have to install the bluetooth app. I was going to finish the install today but I am too sore after being on a steep roof for 3 hours. It is also 98 degrees and a black roof. I am 73 so I do not have the stamina as a younger me. I have to install a receptical for the plug and drill a hole in the ceiling for the probe and the control cable. I am highly satisfied with the purchase. UPDATE===I have it installed now and it works great. I bought 2, 12 inch vents for the north side of the attic and installed this fan on the south end. The attic temps were running between 135 and 140 in the afternoon. Now with this insatlled it was 110 degrees in the attic and it was 102 degrees outside. Very very satisfied.

The controller has lots of options to customize the operation to your needs, including limits on temperature and humidity. The specifications indicate that it produces 70 dB noise level at the installation location, which is not insignificant, and should be expected and planned for in a fan this size. Measured noise levels 1 floor below my attic is about 40 dB (audible, but not overly bothersome). Bluetooth control is implemented very well, and works reliably within range. Speed controller provides 10 different speeds electronically (i.e. efficiently). Build quality is evident at first inspection. Would recommend this supplier.

A: Yes; have installed that way myself, but did have to build small frame for perimeter mounting, so probably recessed somewhat….?

**Q: I have a t16 with a smart controller; can i plug in a s16 fan as a slave?**

Very quiet good quality fan so far had an in for about a month many different programming options including Bluetooth and I believe an app. Only downside was the installation should come with a kit to install through the wall so that you can finish it on the outside. Very good quality and very quiet
