Review: What a disappointment...Nothing like rice... - UPDATE!!!... Since I have learned to use this 'rice' better, I have grown into a big fan. I was originally using it as a plain white rice, and as that, it is not great. It is wonderful when you top it with gravies, sauces or add flavorings. I learned that it really is a very satisfying food and a staple to my low carb lifestyle. A suggestion....I rinse the 'rice' well, then toss it in a pan and dry it out. I add a bit of butter, some onion, garlic, spices, flavorings and cook it through! Simple and it is very satisfying. So...I have upgraded my 1 star review to a 5 star review because it truly is a satisfying staple. I apologize for the one star because it was really not based on the product by my inexperience in knowing how to use it! Thank you Palmini for a good, versatile and enjoyable product. I really wanted to love this 'rice' as I am a huge fan of the Palmini 'pasta' but it just didn't cut it. In fact it was almost like eating grated cauliflower than 'rice' I'll definitely be sticking with the konjac rice as it resembles 'rice' more. The consistency and chew is like grated cauliflower. I wish I could return the two I have left but unfortunately there is no refund allowed on this...you can be sure that I won't be buying this again. What a disappointment.

**Q: How many cups is in one can?**
A: For me I rinsed the "rice" and drained it and made 2 servings on a plate. Each serving was Approx. a cup. It was nice to eat Rice again.

**Q: Where is this made? Where is the palm grown? Certified organic?**
A: The label on the can says this product is made in Ecuador. Distributed by OA foods LLC out of Miami Florida.

**Q: How long is the shelf life unopened?**
A: There is a "packaged on" date on the package and a "best by date" for example the order I recieved a few weeks ago has a packeged by date of 2-22-2021 and a best by date of 8-24-2022. When I recieved my order it would basically have a 6 month shelf life.  Hope that helps?

**Q: Do you get 3 cans or 6 cans? The description and pricing per can conflict.**
A: I got 6 cans.

This product is wonderful it tastes good and the texture is almost perfect. It is so easy to prepare however the cost makes it impossible to use on a regular basis so I only gave it 4 stars.
