The New Ultimate book of Homeplans has a variety of sq. ft. homes, suitable for any part of the country, beit CT or TX. I skimmed through the book with ease, marking each page that had a plan that seemed to suit my needs. I then narrowed my search by revisiting each page and 'deleting' the ones unsuitable for my needs.Each page is well laid out and easy to follow, for a novice like myself. I would recommend this book to anyone looking to build a home from just over 1,000sf to around 6,000sf.I still have to find a piece of land to build my perfect house, but at least I now have an idea as to which perfect houseplan to choose. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for House Hunting *by M***3 on Reviewed in the United States on September 16, 2011* I bought this book for fun so I can look at potential home layouts, I didnt realize that you got so much for your money. One the kidlets in my family is a 6 year old who plans to become an architect/builder when he grows up. Since this is going on the fourth year of that master plan, I think he may actually be destined for it. So for his birthday, I got this book for him as one of his gifts. He loves it! He keeps it up in his bedroom and studies the plans. When he decides to build something, he brings the book down to use as one of his "reference" books (his other main book is  New Complete Do-It-Yourself Manual ).
