Talk to your dentist, especially if you find a toothpaste which claims to do this. Squigle does not wear on enamel and does not irritate gums. **Q: Does this contain mint?** A: The tube has the word peppermint on it. It didn't have a list of ingredients on the tube and I don't have the box anymore. The flavor is very mild. No overpowering mint flavor. **Q: Should I use the tooth builder or the enamel saver? A xylitol and fluoride combination seems better right?** A: Yes. Fluoride is good to prevent cavities. My dentist is in love with this stuff after I turned him on to it. I've been using it for years and it has greatly helped my lichen planus condition and also, no cavities. If for some reason you don't want, can't handle fluoride, the tooth builder is also good. I use enamel saver twice a day. If I brush a third time I use toot builder. t **Q: Which fluoride does it contain? After trying all the pain gels and washes, I started using an oral probiotic, which helped, but Squigle was the real game-changer. Sores disappeared in a week, and if I drink or eat an acidic food and they reappear, I dissolve another oral probiotic pill under tongue, which provides rapid healing. Hopefully this combo will continue to stave them off. The Squigle doesn't burn like regular toothpaste, either and I am hoping the xylitol has other benes for my teeth. It is very expensive for toothpaste, but most anything is worth not having to deal with painful canker sores on tongue and gums! I also changed a couple months ago from alcohol based mouthwash to the Amazon copy of ACT to reduce irritation and burn.
