At 60 MPH, a rider will travel 25 to 50 feet before being able to react. Most OEM brake pedals have a single-positioned small footprint, yet most riders change foot positioning as they switch between standing and sitting. If your foot is not already situated correctly on the rear brake pedal, you are potentially doubling reaction time and distance to make what could be a critical stop. AltRider has taken away this additional hazard with the patent pending DualControl Brake System. There are three parts to the DualControl Brake System: The Riser; When seated a rider's bent knee puts the angle of the foot pointed down 90 degrees from the lower leg, while a standing position creates a straighter leg and raises the angle of your foot to a more level position. With the OEM brake pedal there is no way to keep the correct brake control position when both sitting and standing. With the AltRider enlarger and riser combined, there are two levels in which to engage the rear brake, putting your foot in optimal position regardless of riding position. There are two riser heights available depending on your riding style. Risers can be swapped out. The Enlarger; The ever-changing terrain of off-road riding means your body is constantly adjusting. The billet aluminum enlarger plate gives a greater surface area to work with, affording more control of the rear brake. The Brake Snake; The area between the brake pedal and bike is one of the most susceptible areas to debris. As you ride, plants wedge into the open crevice, slowly building up. This can cause the lever to easily bend out of position resulting in a loss of proper usage of the rear brake. With abrasion-resistant braided stainless steel, the Brake Snake is intelligently integrated into the DualControl Brake System. Brake Snake is only available in silver. All three are available separately or as a kit. AltRider Enlarger is required for use of Riser and Brake Snake. ## Features - Stainless steel bottom plate and hardware to endure the abrasions of off-road riding - 100 percent designed and manufactured in the USA - 22mm and 32 mm riser heights available - Pins provided with enlarger for enhanced grip, extras included - Enlarger and Riser available in black or silver - ›See more product details ## Images ![AltRider R113-1-2502 Silver 22mm DualControl Brake Enlarger and Riser Kit - Image 1](https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/51x8jWuXzgL.jpg) ![AltRider R113-1-2502 Silver 22mm DualControl Brake Enlarger and Riser Kit - Image 2](https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/51vSNwcrBiL.jpg) ![AltRider R113-1-2502 Silver 22mm DualControl Brake Enlarger and Riser Kit - Image 3](https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/61wO1YUUMWL.jpg) ![AltRider R113-1-2502 Silver 22mm DualControl Brake Enlarger and Riser Kit - Image 4](https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/616QpraapIL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ and finish are excellent. *by R***R on Reviewed in the United States on April 9, 2018* Fit, function, and finish are excellent. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/26227920-altrider-r113-1-2502-silver-22mm-dualcontrol-brake-enlarger-riser](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/26227920-altrider-r113-1-2502-silver-22mm-dualcontrol-brake-enlarger-riser) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-16*
