The only issue came when the elastic settled in, because the clamp adjustment legs started touching the ring and causing awful sounds at the slightest touch. It ended up being a simple fix- if you squeeze the arms, you can actually unclip them and set them off to the side, and it will be totally free-floating again. Outstanding. It even stood up just fine to me tripping over the stand, and it being thrown into a wall and a guitar amp as a result- only a few scuffs on the front, and the elastic came unhooked on one side. 10/10, would buy again. The metal was a bit cheap and i already chipped the wing nut that tightens the unit.
