Shipped in original product box with no overwrap or any sort of protection.  Box had been taped up like it had previously been opened, and looked like it had been dragged down the street and dropped off the back of a truck.  Upon opening the box, found that the metal case was dented with the paint chipped and scuffed in a number of places.  Plastic lens had a corner chipped off.  One of the starters was inserted into its socket, while the other was loose in the metal body.  So the overall impression I got was that this was a previously opened/used unit that had been banged around, re-packed, returned, and then shipped to me as a "new" product.  Returned for refund.
