A lightweight, waterproof boot seems to be the overwhelming choice for footwear. After all, you definitely dont want to have wet feet, and you just might need to run, so weight is also very important. All that said, I chose these boots from Timberland, a very reputable company making top quality footwear for some time now. THESE BOOTS DID NOT DISAPPOINT ME AT ALL. They are very well built, VERY lightweight, extremely comfortable, and look great too. I do agree with one reviewer on here that said that they are kinda spacious in the toe area, so I will be buying a thick sock. I usually wear a 11.5 or 12 in a boot, and I ordered a 12 just so i'm not sending them back for being too small. Well they fit great but are just a tad big in the toe area, which for me isn't a big deal. I'd rather have them a bit big then a bit small. I think a good pair of DR Scholls shock absorbers and I'm gelling as i'm kicking some Zombie A&$. Love the boots so much i'm considering buying a second pair. Great boot at a great price, couldn't be happier. Throw some mink oil on the beautiful leather and i'm sure one could almost walk on water and not get wet. Definitely definitely get a pair, you wont be disappointed. ### ⭐ Do not waste your money. This Style is the worst designed of any Timberland!! *by R***E on October 22, 2015* Worst pair of Timberlands that I have ever had!! There si an obvious reason this style of Timberlands is so low priced...because they have been shoddily designed. I have never had a pair of Timberlands or any shoe for that matter where the laces come off of upper rungs. It would have been better if the entire shoe had eyelets up to the top, but Timberland had opted for the 2 upper rows to have these rungs that are at a slant, so walking at a decent pace, the laces will always slip off of these rungs and the shoe then loosens up!The inner arch support that I had in previous Timberlands is non-existent in this style making for an uncomfortable experience if you are standing waiting for a bus or train.Simply put this is no bargain...in fact I feel like I've wasted my money.I will have to be shopping for another pair but this time I am going to look for the better styles of Timberland!~ ### ⭐⭐ Quality Issue *by A***E on March 28, 2012* On the plus side, these boots have been very comfortable right out of the box. The break in time was almost zero. Unfortunately there are quality issues with my pair. The seam along the webbing on the side of the shoe came loose after relatively short use. A minor problem has been the laces. The outer sheath broke very quickly after I started wearing the shoes.
