The price of their pellets was increasing. Also since they pee on the pellets it would retain the smell and the whole bathroom would smell awful. One of my cats would refuse to go near it and poop on the ground b/c of the smell. Did some research and decided to try this out. Cats love it! I use Catit Pea Husk Clumping cat litter since I hate sand. They have Vanilla and Lavender scent and it's not an overpowering smell. The pad underneath needs to be changed every 3-4 days, don't let it get drenched or you'll have to clean urine that seeped under the pad. The screen needs to be replaced every other month and they're not expensive. My only itty bitty complaint is that there isn't anywhere to hook the scooper anywhere. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Keeps odors away in bedroom *by A***N on Reviewed in Canada on 14 June 2023* My old cat stays in my room at night and started peeing on things because she can't hold it.
