There is just the most subtle... glow (that's the best way I can describe it) to the eyeshadow that doesn't do that thing shimmer does to aging skin, and it doesn't fall off of the skin. If you apply some to your inner arm, then smear it so that the color fades you can the slthe ultra fine shimmer. I think that's a really cool feature that makes the colors pop while still being matte for all intents and purposes. Definitely recommend.
