These fit the bill perfectly. My phone has a hard case around it, covered by a silicone case, so I loop the strap through the hard case first, and then through the silicone part. When I don't have a free hand or a pocket to hold my phone (like when loading heavy groceries), I just let my phone hang from my hand strap around my wrist, and there's no sign of wear and tear or breakage on the strap. It's better than leaving it on the top of the car and forgetting about it until you drive away. Also good for feeling a little more secure if you tend to drop the phone while taking pictures or texting where it can fall under a seat.
