Generally, I shower at night and will use this spray, style my hair then sleep. The next day (and sometimes several days) my hair maintains it's sleek, relaxed look. I wouldn't say my hair stays straight because I try not to flatiron every day, but, it does help to keep it smooth and combat the friz from humidity. The scent is a very light citrus that doesn't smell strong or stick around. It's light, then it fades.
