For heavy cleaning, dilute 4 oz Murphy Oil Soap per gallon. Clean with well wrung-out mop, and mop any excess water. No rinsing required. Other surfaces: Wet cloth with diluted Murphy Oil Soap liquid. Wipe clean to reveal wood's natural beauty. Murphy Oil Soap should not be used on unfinished, unsealed or waxed wood surfaces because they may be water sensitive. Before using on an unknown surface, test on an inconspicuous area. **Q: How effective is this for removing grease from the cabinets?**
A: I can't be sure since I don't have this problem; however, when I moved into my apartment the original wood plank floors looked like they hadn't been cleaned in years and had places where there was tons of grime. The apartment had been cleaned, but it looked like they just dust mopped the floors or something. :(

I had to wash the floors on hands and knees. I filled a very large bucket with hot water (wore gloves) and the oil soap mixed at a ratio as per the instructions suggested. I used a soft bristle cleaning brush to scrub the grime off first, then went back over again with cleaning rags. I had to change my bucket water about 3 or 4 times! That's how dirty the water was!!! But the floors were gorgeous afterwards. They looked so beautiful and again, they are the original wood floors that were from when the house was built in the 70s!

Now, I keep a glass spray bottle with a mixture of water and the oil soap and just mop the floor that way. I only do the 'hand and knees' thing maybe once every 8 months or so. It works wonderfully! So, to answer your question in a long and not-so-direct way, I don't see why this wouldn't work for you to remove grease from your cabinets. Good luck!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The all-purpose cleaner you didn't know you needed...

I love Murphy oil soap. There's no debating that it's a must-have for wood floors and cabinet fronts and leather upholstery...it's an effective cleaner AND conditioner, all natural, leaves a lovely shine, and makes your whole house smell heavenly!! But what I didn't realize until more recently is that Murphy's is not at all limited to floors and furniture. It actually can be used as a great all purpose cleaner for all sorts of things around the house! It's a good idea to do a little research and a spot test before you use it on something you're not sure about, but it should be safe on most hard surfaces like laminate, tile, sealed stone, vinyl, and even plastic. My personal favorite new use for Murphy's is cleaning the inside of my car...I can use it on almost everything, the dash, the leather seats, the insides of doors and plastic consul. The best part is everything has that amazing fresh citrus smell. So now I'm constantly looking for more things that I can make smell like Murphy oil soap... Go crazy with it!!
