ALL earplugs have historically hurt my ears and made them sore for days, but I have to have them to sleep so it can be very miserable. I saw the reviews for the ultra soft ones and thought, well, it can't hurt to try them. I slept with them last night and I'm beyond impressed. Not only did they not hurt AT ALL, but it was as if they weren't there, and when I took them out, it was as if they'd never been there. My ears felt great. Also, they cut out all the annoying noises that keep me up at night - the ice maker, the cats playing with a box - whatever. I slept all night long without being disturbed. I woke up rested. They're lifesavers.
