Review: dustmitex also worked on bird mites. - i bought this cause i had a mite problem. not dust but bird. i had birds infesting between the 2 roofs of my house having babies after babies. no one would help me for 2.5 years. good ole state law sucked. finally found someone to help remove the birds nests since the babies finally flew but, in the meantime, the birds mites came through the ceiling, walls, and windows in my bedroom. i was getting eaten alive. found this stuff and figured couldnt hurt to try. well 3 applications later, bites were gone (also washed my bedding stuff in super hot water prior and vacuumed the bed) but it worked..

**Q: How many ounces is in this bottle? I can't find that information listed.**
A: I am not at home to take a look at the label of my dustmitex bottle so i just searched google for a larger photo of dustmitex and zoomed it in and it says 32 fl. Oz or 0.946 liter.

**Q: What are the ingredients? It says this is a "natural" product but provides no ingredient list to verify.**
A: The active ingredient listed on the front label is Disodium Octaborate Tetrahydrate , 10%. The inert ingredient is water, 90%. The label also gives a phone number for the National Pesticide Information Center at 1-800-858-7378. There is also a Customer Service number at 1-800-353-2649, 9-5 EST weekdays. There is also a website at www.dustmitex.com plus another phone number at 1-888-353-2649. I'm not a chemist, but the active ingredient may be a variation of boric acid which is a common insecticide.

A: It's a spray-on product to tide you over between washings. You spray it on the fabric. For bedspreads and bedsheets best to use a laundry detergent additive like Alcaral at least every 6 weeks.

A: I used it on furniture, dog bedding and carpets, no adverse effects.

i bought this cause i had a mite problem. not dust but bird. i had birds infesting between the 2 roofs of my house having babies after babies. no one would help me for 2.5 years. good ole state law sucked. finally found someone to help remove the birds nests since the babies finally flew but, in the meantime, the birds mites came through the ceiling, walls, and windows in my bedroom. i was getting eaten alive. found this stuff and figured couldnt hurt to try. well 3 applications later, bites were gone (also washed my bedding stuff in super hot water prior and vacuumed the bed) but it worked..

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works Great,.. But, It Needs Is Better Manufacturing of Plastic Screw On

Works great, BUT the round screw on screw-on section with the vertical lines has a sharp edge along the top and cuts into my hand after spraying for a few minutes. A "band-aid" on the hand is one solution, or wrap tape around the top of the screw on section where it meets the nozzle itself. My point is that no users should have to do that, otherwise so far it is showing to work very well for "nuking mites" :-)
