They fall apart so quickly. I was getting tired of throwing our money away and wanted the brand name since I know they would be far more effective. When these arrived, it was almost comical how huge they were as they're made for industrial use. I cut them into fourths to match the standard size of the home use ones and now we have 80 scouring pads for 20 bucks. These are so much more durable and long-lasting. This really ends up being far more economical and they'll last for a very long time. They're perfect for scouring my stainless steel baking pans but gentle enough for my ceramic coated pots and pans. Just apply the right pressure in each situation. If you push too hard on non-stick pans, you're going to damage them, and if you feel you have to do that to get them clean, they're probably already damaged.
